The Berger 6mm 108 Grain Elite Hunter is designed for shooters who want to take full advantage of extremely flat-shooting 6mm cartridges, such as the 6mm Creedmoor or 6 PRC, for long-range hunting applications.
The heavier bullet weight combined with an optimized hybrid ogive design allows for excellent energy retention, delivering effective hydrostatic shock from close range to well beyond 500 yards. It is ideal for hunting small to medium-sized game, such as whitetail deer.
Berger Elite Hunter rifle bullets feature the company’s industry-leading hybrid ogive, blending tangent and secant designs to provide high efficiency, reduced wind drift, and minimal sensitivity to seating depth. While identical in shape and performance to the Hybrid Target series, Elite Hunter bullets utilize a thinner J4 Precision Jacket for rapid expansion on game.
Designed to penetrate approximately 2–3 inches into vital tissue before expanding, the bullet creates a large wound cavity (up to 15 inches). This ensures maximum energy transfer, significant tissue damage, and strong hydrostatic shock for an effective and ethical kill.
