What is a Reflex Sight? A reflex sight (also known as a red dot sight) is a type of optical sight that projects an illuminated dot (usually red) onto a transparent lens. It is widely used in both airsoft and real firearms because it significantly improves aiming accuracy.
How Does a Reflex Sight Work? A reflex sight uses a reflective lens that projects an LED light dot. The light appears as a dot on the lens, and when you look through the sight, you see the dot on your target. The dot stays aligned with the target regardless of the angle at which you hold the sight.
Advantages:
Fast target acquisition – You can quickly find your target without looking through a traditional scope.
Great for fast movements – Reflex sights are ideal for dynamic and fast-paced airsoft games.
Clear sight picture – Provides a wider field of view compared to traditional scopes.

Tube vs. Open Reflex Sights:
Open Reflex Sights: Have an open design without a housing, offering a wider field of view.
Tube Reflex Sights: Have a housing that looks like a small tube and often provide extra protection for the lens.
