The ARES Radom Arms Factory WZ.96A Beryl AEG is an officially licensed airsoft replica of the legendary FB Radom wz.96A Beryl, developed through a collaboration between FB Radom and ARES Airsoft. This faithful reproduction represents one of the most recognizable service rifles used by the Polish Armed Forces, serving both domestically and during international deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan and Chad.
Introduced during the mid-1990s, the wz.96A Beryl was designed to replace older AK-pattern rifles while bringing Polish military equipment in line with NATO standards. Its rugged construction, reliability and distinctive appearance have made it one of the most iconic modern Polish service rifles.
The replica is constructed from a combination of steel, aluminium and reinforced polymer, delivering excellent realism and durability. Steel components include the receiver, dust cover, gas tube, folding stock, safety lever, trigger guard and sling swivel. The barrel assembly, sights, charging handle, fire selector and muzzle device are manufactured from aluminium, while the pistol grip, handguard and Mid-Cap magazine are made from high-quality polymer.
This version features the authentic side-folding steel stock, allowing the rifle to become more compact during transport while preserving its distinctive military profile. It also includes the enlarged magazine release introduced on later Beryl variants, enabling faster magazine changes.
The included 120-round Mid-Cap magazine makes the rifle particularly suitable for MilSim events and realistic gameplay, where quiet magazine operation and authentic ammunition capacity are preferred.
The ARES Radom Arms Factory WZ.96A Beryl is an excellent choice for players seeking something different from traditional AK or AR platforms. Thanks to its official licensing, premium construction and historical significance, it is equally appealing to collectors and enthusiasts of modern Polish military firearms.
The package includes a Mid-Cap magazine and cleaning rod. Battery and charger are not included.
